Do you sell computers?
YES! We have our computers posted here on the website under the tab "For Sale".
What kinds of computers do you sell?
We only sell commercial-grade refurbished laptops and desktops. The reasoning is the same as buying a 2- or 3-year old Lexus, BMW or Mercedes vehicle. The quality is very high but you won't have to pay new sticker prices.
What kind of warranty comes with computers you sell?
Most of our commercial-grade computers come with a 3-year warranty that we service here at AfterGlow Computers.
Do you fix phone or tablet screens?
Unfortunately we do not fix phone or tablet screens and have no plans to get into that industry in the future.
What is a typical turnaround time for computer repair?
Due to the fact that we like to make sure every effort has been made to fix your computer right the first time, our typical turnaround time is 3-7 business days. However, if you must have your computer back sooner, we offer an expedited service (1-2 business days) for an additional fee.
What types of computer repair services do you offer?
We can do practically all computer repairs on hardware and software. However, we do not repair laptop screens and DC jacks.
How much does it cost to repair my computer?
Our diagnostic is always free. Cost of repairs will depend on type of service. Estimates are given for approval before work has begun.
Do you offer onsite repairs or do I need to bring my computer to you?
Most computer repairs are done in our office due to needing access to our tools and equipment, and it is typically much cheaper.
What types of computers and operating systems do you work with?
We work on all laptops, desktops, and all-in-one computers. We are proficient and comfortable working with Windows, MacOS and Linux.
How do I schedule an appointment for computer repair services?
We would be delighted to schedule an appointment. Call our office at 903-347-0073. We are open Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 1pm.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, or credit card payments.
Do you offer remote computer repair services?
Yes, we do offer remote services depending on the type of repair needed.
Do you provide data recovery services?
We offer several levels of data recovery, depending on the severity of damage to the hard drive.
How can I protect my computer from future viruses and malware?
In this day and age, virus protection is critical. We can install our managed antivirus protection for $69 per year per computer. It will protect you from vicious ransomware, malware, and viruses.
What should I do if my computer is not starting up or experiencing other critical errors?
Put down the hammer, unplug your computer, and bring it to us. We will do a free diagnostic and let you know what we recommend.
